About the Artist

Giada Rossi RGiada (Giada Rossi) - real name Bianca S Faggiotto, is a self-taught artist, living in the city of Saint Anthony, Padua, Italy.

An Artistic Introduction to the World
Bianca has always had a pull towards art and creativity starting early on growing up in an artistic household. Her father was a music composer and her mother an actress and maturing in this environment gave Bianca space and opportunity to celebrate her natural artistic skill.
Approaching life with a curiously born out of this nurturing, openly artistic background has allowed Bianca the freedom to experiment without fear of failure.

A Timely Meeting of Mentors
Her work is inspired by two of the world’s photography masters: Manny Librodo Jr. and Jojie Alcantara and they have served as a source of inspiration and, for her, epitomize the essence and original concept of beauty in nature and people. Through continuous study and ongoing reworking of concepts, Bianca has followed the inspiration of these two photographers and has sought to add to her repertoire a wide range of visual effects as well as luminance, shadow, contrast and blur. Above all, she has nurtured a willingness to push back against traditional thinking around color and its constructs.
For many artists starting out, the art world can be confusing and difficult to navigate which is why Bianca feels fortunate to have had these two as mentors. Bianca is grateful for the support of both MrsJojie and MrManny who she met through Facebook, with both have taken time to critique her works and offering encouragement to continue on the path towards becoming a digital artist.
She credits her husband, also an artist as a director of culture documentary films, as being a pillar of support and advice in helping develop her fledgling career and direct her path as an artist. He has variously served as encourager, supporter, sponsor, critic and admirer as Bianca has courageously blazed her own, unconventional path in the world of art.

The Evolution of a Visual Artist
As an artist for over ten years, Bianca finds she is best able to express herself through the digital medium, focusing on Photoshop as a tool to share her art with the world.
She is fearless in her approach to the creative process, tackling difficult, sensitive themes and melding them seamlessly with a sense of joy and wonder. Her work covers a range of subjects from spirituality to philosophy and from surrealism to abstract. With a focus on the importance of color to convey meaning, Bianca specializes in digital painting and applications and also in photomontage techniques, oil and acrylic painting and photography.
As an emerging artist still as the very beginning of her career, Bianca is hopeful as she looks back at her very personal introduction to art as a way to bring healing. And, in the same breath, looks forward to the future and a promising artistic career that holds stories yet to be told.
